Fake It And Fail.

Brand isn’t about BS.

Brand is about capturing the qualities, characteristics and components that make you and your business uniquely you. Fake it and eventually you will fail.

I have a client who represents one of the most complex set of qualities you can imagine….He’s compassionate. He’s in-your-face-confrontational. He delivers timeless wisdom, and he is leading edge radical thought leader in his space. And I’ve been curious about how on earth we can position him in the market. How do you capture qualities that are so divergent and juxtaposed?

Finally, it hit me. (Thank goodness it usually does) This guy is a walking set of dichotomies. That’s it! That’s the core of his brand platform.

And that’s what we’re creating…. how exactly, is in the works. But here’s the secret sauce to having an effective brand; EMBRACE who you are, and what your company is all about. Uncover it, shine the light on it, and celebrate it. Start there, and the rest falls into place.
